Bob and Dorothy Anderson

Erin participates and excels in life's activities with courage, perseverance, enthusiasm and joy!

We are in your grandparents’ age group. We grew up in the north (Wisconsin and Minnesota) where we ice skated in the winter on outdoor rinks and lakes. Bob played hockey and Dorothy figure skated. In the summer we swam and water skied, and Dorothy even participated in local water shows.

After Bob served as a Navy weatherman during the Korean War we met at the University of Wisconsin. Since marriage we have lived 1 year in Louisiana and 49 years in Texas. We have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. Our favorite family activities have been three-generation ski trips to Utah and gatherings at the family cottage in Wisconsin on the western shore of Lake Michigan.

All in all we like Wisconsin weather and seasons better than Texas weather. We think the best thing about Texas is Texans. Most Texans are polite, friendly, determined and enthusiastic. (This description certainly includes you.)
