Michael Milano

Hi, this is my mom's e-mail address, but my name is Michael - I am 12 and play soccer too, we read your blog from Connecticut. I also have a mop of a little dog named Bailey. Here is a picture of Bailey and me. The second picture is of Bailey and Rudy after the story below. The third is a soccer picture.

Here's a Bailey story - she is normally a very smart, friendly little dog. But a year ago while we were on vacation she dug out from under the kennel along with our other dog Rudy - he's a hotdog - and ran away. For six days in the very cold snowy wet weather she ran loose in the woods of the kennel neighborhood, no where near our home.. Rudy found the nearest person and begged to be brought back inside. So we had search parties of about six people every day and night....we saw her in the woods twice, but she was so scared she kept running away, which made me very sad. Finally my Dad figured out a way we might catch her before she got eaten by coyotes (we have alot around here) or died of exposure. We set out have-a-heart traps and put Rudy's sweater in there with bisquits. In the first night after setting the traps, we caught her! She came home skinny and full of ticks, but happy once again.

My words to describe Erin as I see her in the blog... COURAGEOUS, brave, strong.
